Two of the founder members of Jamie’s Fund and two others, cycled from Entebbe to Kisiizi in July 2011. This was to raise funds to buy a vehicle for staff to go out to community clinics from Kisiizi. This was during the time that Jamie became ill.

While the raising funds took place before the formation of Jamie’s Fund and was part of the link between Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Trust and Kisiizi, the running costs are provided by Jamie’s Fund.
